Setup Account What is a Fundraising Account?
Our Fundraising Accounts allow you an easy and inexpensive way to take credit card donations by linking from your existing website!

How It Works:
Set up an account online with Donor Town Square for no charge. Link to it from your website using one of our suggested icons or one of your own creation. Donors click on that icon and then are sent to a secure donation page where they can contribute to your organization.

No Setup Fee or Monthly Fee!
We charge a standard transaction rate of 6% on all donations (7% for American Express), and that is the only fee we charge for basic fundraising accounts. With no setup fee or monthly fee, and since it only takes a few minutes to open an account, there is no risk to setting up a fundraising page for your group right now!

How do I get my donations?
Donor Town Square charges a transaction fee for each donation made through your page. Every Monday, Donor Town Square sends a check to all accounts for the sum of their donations in the last week minus the transaction fees. A check is only sent if the donations exceed $25, otherwise the balance is carried over. Upgrade to an Advanced Fundraising account to get direct deposits of your donations once a week instead of a check mailed!

What is a Monthly Pledge Program?
All Fundraising Accounts automatically are setup with a monthly pledge feature (which you can turn off if you prefer not to use it). This feature allows your donor to click a check box in the donation process that makes their donation a recurring donation.

Their credit card will now be charged the same amount every month, allowing them to continue supporting you with no extra effort on their part or yours! Each month when the pledges for your account are charged, each donor will receive a confirmation email letting them know the pledge was charged, and with custom thank you text from you. Your donor can also edit their pledge online at anytime by visiting http://www.DonorTownSquare.com/EditPledge/
